Personal Profile
Darrell graduated with a B.Sc. in Geological Sciences from the University of British Columbia in 1978. His first field school and summer jobs were in hardrock. The last 30 years have been in the oil and gas industry. Darrell, in his various capacities, has done regional mapping, prospect generation, prospect evaluation, acquisition evaluation, log interpretation, seismic interpretation and wellsite supervision. One of his major accomplishments, the founding of Opal Energy Inc., has equipped him with a very strong background in numerous facets of the oil industry. Darrell is an Independent Geologist who subcontracts to Wellsite Geologists Inc. (formerly Running Horse Resources.)
